I've actually read a few accounts where a brand new PC (an HP pavilion, if you're curious) with Vista pre-loaded, crashes during its initial boot-up. I guess Microsoft decided that people shouldn't have to wait to discover the true pain of running Vista, so they pre-crash it in the factory. (Coming next week: one free starter virus in every box.
